I have never been to Vermont, but in my head I associate it with rolling mountains and trees and happy skiers. One of the last things that comes to mind when I think of the green mountain state is public nudity. But this has apparently become a big issue this week for the town of Brattleboro, Vermont and is causing the town officials talk about the practice.

Brattleboro is known for open acceptance of public nudity, but this all could end soon. A 68-year-old Arizona man was walking the streets wearing nothing but a fanny pack earlier this week and he caused quite a stir. There have been some issues with the tourists in Brattleboro not respecting the culture before and this is the latest example. The man’s actions caused an emergency vote to ban nudity on main roads.

I honestly had no idea that places like this existed. I knew that there were nudists colonies, but a whole town that just lets people roam around naked all day? I’m sorry, that is just gross. Some things are better left to the imagination in my opinion.
